Gators land commitment from 4-Star DT Jaelin Humphries

After a quiet stretch on the recruiting front for Dan Mullen and the Gators (well, not quiet for the fans… many have been voicing their concern) the silence ended with a loud commitment from 4-star Jaelin Humphries.

The defensive tackle from Mountain View High School (Lawrenceville, Ga.) announced his commitment to first-year coach Dan Mullen and the Gators on Tuesday morning – not only breaking the silence but becoming a monster coupe from the State of Georgia, where the Bulldogs have been all but dominant in landing commitments.

Humphries visited Gainesville during spring ball and named Florida in his top 10 on May 19th, along with Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Mississippi State, Nebraska, South Carolina and Tennessee – it is clear that competition for Humphries was no joke and Dan Mullen can certainly build around talented recruits like him.
