Kickoff times and TV assignments set for Florida football’s first three games

Gator fans (and especially tailgating fans) got some great news this week as the kickoff times for the Gators first 3 games will all be held in the later parts of the day – you know what that means! Let’s get shousty!

The Gators will host Charleston Southern in the season opener on Saturday, Sept. 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET and also face Kentucky at home in the same time slot on Saturday, Sept. 8. In Week 3, Florida will host Colorado State with a 4 p.m. kickoff on Saturday, Sept. 13. All games will be televised on the SEC Network.

Mullen has spent the majority of his first offseason with the program imploring fans to fill The Swamp and make it a difficult atmosphere that has made it infamous over the years and hated by opposing teams. By opening the season with three games that will all occur in the evening hours, fans will certainly have the opportunity to establish a precedent for the remainder of the home games this season. As long as they don’t drink too much beforehand…
