Florida held it’s first Junior Day with Dan Mullen at the helm this past weekend, courting a number of 2019 recruits who he and the staff are . Overall the weekend has been a success with many recruits touting how fantastic the trip has been for them. Some so much so that they decided to make the commitment to the Gators. The first for Mullen – 3-Star inside linebacker Jammal Abrams.

As an Alabama native the 6-foot-3, 224-pound Abrams is ranked the nation’s No. 18 inside linebacker in the 247Sports composite. He also holds offers from Louisville, Oregon, Ole Miss and South Carolina.
Abrams has the frame for an ideal 4-3 linebacker, a spot the Gators certainly need more bodies for. His 3-star rating will make many fans question the take, as Mullen and co. will be expected to land a top-10 class at a minimum in 2019. That said, it is still very early and many believe Abrams has the potential to develop and quite likely earn that 4th star.
All recruiting fans need to pay attention to this one. Not talked about as much as he should be. https://t.co/LmkuGtFV2R
