Florida offensive line coach Brad Davis leaving for Missouri

First reported by Football Scoop, Florida offensive line coach Brad Davis leaving for Missouri to coach in the same role. He leaves the Gators after one year of coaching under former head coach Jim McElwain

With John Hevesy following Dan Mullen to the Gators and taking over the offensive line responsibilities and working as a co-offensive coordinator, it left many wondering what role Brad Davis would fill on the team, many expecting he may make the move to tight ends coach. Davis had been a strong recruiter for the Gators, which is the area where his presence will be the most missed.  As a coach, Davis brought some intensity in practice, but it was never fully realized on the field – with the 2017 line often getting outmanned by their opponents.

Davis previously coached the offensive line at Portland State, James Madison, East Carolina and North Texas.
